Our client is a specialist, indigenous FMCG company which sources and markets product categories for sales to the wholesale and wider retail sector in Ireland and the UK. Due to expansion and as part of its growth plans, we are now sourcing a Key Account Manager on their behalf.
This role will involve working closely with the company’s leadership team to drive the business in the assigned channel which includes retailers, symbol stores, value-based stores and category wholesale accounts across the island of Ireland.

It is important that candidates are comfortable in a structured office environment, managing accounts through phone, email and an internal CRM. They will be equally comfortable engaging successfully by telephone and email as well as face to face on the road.
Information technology skills are important so candidates will have a disciplined approach to data management. Excel is the key day-to-day tool as well as a customized CRM.
Candidates will have a sharp trading mentality, balancing the exploitation of sales opportunities with an awareness of margin management.
They will be motivated and have a high level of energy and personal drive for professional success. They will be ambitious and keen to work in a high performance environment.
Experience of selling into independent retailers, symbol groups and/or discount value sector is highly desired.
