HR OPERATIONS MANAGER

Short description:

Based in the midlands, our client is a professional services provider specilaising in HR and managememt consultancy.  Due to a steadily expanding portfolio of clients, they require an Operations Manager to compliment the existing management team and work closely with the CEO in optimising service and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the HR Operations Manager will lead a department in responding to business needs with the provision of a highly professional service to the business.

Key tasks will include:

  • Lead, mentor and develop staff in providing high level support to the company’s clients in a structured and customer-focused environment.
  • Work closely with the CEO in business and performance analysis projects.
  • Analyse customer interactions and identify opportunities to expand the services sold to them.
  • Delivery of all aspects of the strategic and operational Human Resource service to business customers.
  • Proactively working with the leadership team members to understand their business requirements and to support their business with proactive HR services appropriate to their needs.

 

The ideal candidate will be qualified with a Degree in Business or a related academic area.  While experience in HR is not essential, the person needs to have some understanding of its role in a business as well as a desire to learn about trends in the function to better understand client needs.

They will be a positive, creative and energetic manager who enjoys coaching and developing people.

They will have strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data from CRM systems and make informed business decisions with a view to recommending choices and strategic direction to the Chief Executive and the Board.
