Based in Limerick, Ireland, John Harty & Associates was founded in 1985 to deliver HR consultancy services including senior recruitment,
employee relations and training. Developing a keen interest in the area of candidate sourcing and responding to emerging marketplace demands,
the business specialised in senior executive search, Ireland in 1991.
Thirty years on, the company is proud of its prominence in Ireland’s executive search market. Evolving from John Harty & Associates to JHA Executive Search and later Harty International,
the business was officially rebranded to Harty Search & Selection in 2014. Maintaining an authority on search and selection trends, the company has continually modernised and adapted to fluctuating economic and industry conditions.

Conor graduated from the University of Limerick with a BSc in Production Management in 1991 and a Diploma in Human Resource Management in 1994. With an employment portfolio spanning 23 years, he has worked with a variety of Irish and international organisations in the areas of Production Management, Recruitment and HR.
In 1999, Conor relocated to Limerick to join John Harty & Associates as a Senior Executive Search Consultant, earning promotion to his current role in 2004. In the last 15 years, Conor has managed a wide range of senior appointments for clients in both the indigenous and multinational sectors. Driven by the need to provide clients with a real choice in candidates, Conor has also been instrumental in the company’s strategic sourcing of candidates abroad.
Olivia graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a BBS (Marketing) in 2004. Gaining experience in a dynamic international market, Olivia worked in Purchasing in New York before joining the company in early 2006. In her dedicated role
of Head of Research, Olivia develops and maintains a broad database of active, cutting-edge candidates.
Olivia also manages Harty Search & Selection’s international research efforts. Her proficiency in identifying resources in the UK and Europe has enabled the company to successfully source candidates for Irish multinational clients in tight skill areas.
